On August 31, 2016 Google Drive will discontinue serving content via googledrive.com/host, that means these web pages will no longer be accessible. This means that hosting eLearning with Google Drive will no longer be an option anymore. Google suggests to use alternative platforms such as Blogger and Firebase Hosting, yet they did not measure up to now Google Drive eLearning hosting expectations. I have found a solution using Amazon S3, which is Amazon's version of an online web storage system. Unfortunately this hosting process is more complicated than the Google Drive hosting process and a lot more steps are involved, as well as a third party software. I have tested out this new method and successfully hosted one eLearning project so far as a test. I am now in the process of creating directions on how to host your eLearning using Amazon S3...stay tuned!
